The purpose of the NSHP is to provide a safe place where children ages 5-13 can receive educational assistance and engage in recreational activities.

Calumet is a place where parents can rely on the staff to assist their children with day-to-day homework, and provide high quality programming.
The Youth Program serves 60-80 school aged males and females (13-17 years old) from the surrounding community. We provide academic tutoring, computer access, enrichment activities Monday through Thursday.

The goal is to guide youth to become successful, young adults with hope for the future by providing assistance that prepares them for the transition into college.
Young at heart and socially active are the ladies and gentlemen of the Senior Support Group at Calumet Community Center.

These faithful members, increasing daily, are a part of a brand new program at a Center that is continually working on serving the needs of West Oak Cliff. The attendants of Senior Support Group return weekly Mondays-Thursdays for an event filled 4 hours (10am-2pm).
