The Red Hot Chili Pepper Rally is cycling event that is held at the center and is the largest fund raising event throughout the year. The bike rally spans through West Oak Cliff, Grand Prairie, Cedar Hill and Midlothian. It has different stages for all levels of experience and challenges riders throughout the course.

The bike rally offers a 20, 40 and 60-mile run that display a very scenic harmonious experience for riders. The course has rest stop areas that offer amenities such as restrooms, water, fruit and power bars. Radio correspondents are available at each rest stop area to notify authorities of any potential accidents or problems on the course. The Red Hot Chili Pepper Rally is comprised of volunteers that organize the entire event from registration to cleanup. In recent years, the event has enticed over 5,000 riders to participate and the event has continued to grow each year.

The Red Hot Chili Pepper Rally allows cycle enthusiasts the opportunity to enjoy their passion and contribute to the children of the community by keeping the doors at Calumet open.
