Program Details
The Senior Support Group is a program at Calumet Community Center that caters to senior citizens aged 55+.
These citizens are kept well informed through various guest speakers from numerous other agencies. Opportunities for work, social security, Medicare, emergency home repair, and nutrition are some of the few topics discussed and provided.
In addition, these vivacious seniors volunteer their services by making hand made blankets for local hospital patient. They are actively involved in supporting fundraising events for the center, and enjoy being a part of the sensational choir with skilled instrumentalists.
